Specification

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct research into the viability of newly proposed qualifications
Applying for programme accreditation for legacy qualifications and new occupational certificates
Source and secure learning materials for new occupational programmes
Register and re-register assessors, moderators, and facilitators with relevant SETA and QCTO
Ensuring regulatory compliance before programme implementation
Maintain a database of SETA and QCTO approved learning material
Maintain a database of current assessors, moderators, and facilitators
Plan and prepare for programme and site accreditation in consultation with the relevant programme head
Attending relevant SETA and QCTO meetings
Support employers with the workplace approval process
Perform any other functions as seen fit by the organisation.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

A suitable tertiary qualification
3-5 years’ experience working with SETAs/QCTO in dealing with regulatory compliance
3 years’ experience in programme accreditation with SETAs/QCTO as well as the employer workplace approval
Sound knowledge and experience in working with QCTO qualifications and understanding its processes and procedures
3-5 years’ experience in a TVET College environment (private and or Public)
Sound evidence of project management ability
Efficient in computer literacy
Driver’s licence
