Job Description:

The ideal candidate is someone who has strong analytical and reporting skills, has familiarity and comfort working with large datasets, is a self-starter who can run with ideas without needing a lot of direct oversight, builds strong and effective business relationships across the organisation, is flexible and adaptable to work in a project setting where requests for information are time sensitive and at times on short notice, and works well with team members across multiple geographies and time zones.

  • Develop monthly and ad hoc analysis on programme budget vs. actuals and commitments
  • Prepare and manage monthly accruals process
  • Use financial tools to prepare reporting and provide analysis on budget performance
  • Track programme benefits delivered vs. business case
  • Work with programme team to implement approach for gathering data and reporting progress
  • Execute Quality Assurance metrics data gathering and reporting process

Qualifications:

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools, especially Excel
  • Experience or familiarity with SAP preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with Power BI and Smartsheet a plus
  • Experience or familiarity with navigating and extracting information from database tools required
  • Self-starter, demonstrates curiosity & problem-solving to investigate financial & operational questions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; builds effective relationships with internal & external team
  • Strong verbal, written and collaborative communication skills
  • Flexibility to work with team members in multiple geographies and multiple time zones
  • Adaptability to work in a project environment where requests for more information are time sensitive

Fitter at Sibanye Stillwater

Your manager should be aware of and support your application. Pre-screening and psychometric evaluation may form part of the selection process. The appointee should:

  • Be in possession of Grade 12 or Technical Specific N2
  • Certified Competent as Fitter
  • Trade Certificate issued in terms of section 13 or 26D
  • Completed formal Learnership programme prior to obtaining a Fitter artisan Trade
  • English literate (speak, read and write)
  • Must be able to do standby and overtime
  • Must be familiar with risk assessments procedures
  • Valid driving license code 08
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achievement of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance of equipment
    • Attend and conduct Safety meeting
    • Conducts and participate in Risk assessments
    • Allocate tasks to subordinates
    • Attend to Breakdowns and emergencies as required
    • Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required
    • Ensure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinates
    • Comply to environmental requirements
    • Exercise judgment with regards to replacement of components
    • Maintains a high quality of work
    • Timely and accurate information
    • Records results of all legal examinations in the appropriate format
    • Works in a sequence that prioritises work requirements
    • Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s)
    • Performing work to the required standards and specifications
    • Applying appropriate tools to complete tasks

    Good employee relations

    • Ensuring effective teamwork
    • Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications of possible conflict
    • Ensure that subordinates have clear work expectations and plans
    • Conduct on the job induction
    • Support, coach and participate in the training and development of subordinates and apprentices
    • Effective two way open communication with subordinates and line supervisor
    • Report at risk behavior, incidents and injuries
    • Interacting with other departments
    • Advising defects and abnormalities to appropriate supervisor or manager
