Sanlam Developing Markets [SDM] (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover and personal accident plans. In terms of the Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. The cluster focusses on retail porducts, as well as group schemes. What will you do?
Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files. Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available. What will make you successful in this role?

  • Applicants must be South African citizens
  • Be unemployed
  • Be aged between 18 and 35
  • Be residing in the Klerksdorp area
  • Be available for interviews during November/December 2021
  • Be able to start with the learnership/Internship on 1 February 2022
  • Hold a Grade 12 Certificate with English, Mathematics and/or Accounting Of min 40%
  • Be computer literate in word/excel/outlook

Clicks has an exciting opportunity available to complete a Learnership Programme to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant. The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

Job description

Learnership Programme:

  • Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy
  • A structured learning programme that consists of a theoretical and practical component and that leads to a qualification that is registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF)

As a Learner on this programme you will be required to meet the following objectives:

  • Successfully complete the Learnership Training Contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy and under an approved tutor
  • Attend the required training interventions and successfully complete the competency assessments
  • Submit a Portfolio of Evidence
  • Provide support to the healthcare team in one of the Click’s Pharmacies under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
