Duties/Pligte

  • Uitvoering van kliniese navorsing, insluitend die inskrywing van pasiënte in navorsingstudies, implementering van navorsingsprotokol en aanbieding van bevindings soos vereis;
  • Versamel en ontleed data, insluitend die bestuur van databasisse en rekordhouding;
  • Rapporteer bevindinge van navorsing, wat die aanbieding van bevindings by konferensies, vergaderings en ander spreekbeurte kan insluit waar van toepassing;
  • Hou rekord van alle voorraad, toerusting en voorafverpakte laboratoriumstelle;
  • Rapportering en dokumentasie van alle besoeke wat op dieselfde dag gemis is;
  • Voldoening aan alle regulatoriese vereistes om Goeie Kliniese Praktyk te verseker;
  • Voldoening aan studieprosedures, FAMCRU SOP’S en GKP-standaarde;
  • Voldoening aan die Gehalteversekeringsplan wat vir die spesifieke studie geïmplementeer is;
  • Rapportering van enige aangebore afwykings en kliniese toestande aan sub-ondersoekers;
  • Voltooiing van brondokumentasie soos vereis deur die studiespesifieke protocol;
  • Skakeling met interne en eksterne belanghebbendes, insluitend gemeenskapsgroepe, soos vereis, dit wil sê MOU’s, daghospitale en hospitale;
  • Hulpverlening met die werwing van deelnemers vir studies en verskaf direkte pasiëntsorg vir deelnemers.
  • Conducting clinical research, including enrolling patients in research studies, implementing research protocol and presenting findings as required;
  • Collecting and analysing data, including managing databases and record keeping;
  • Report findings of research, which may include presenting findings at conferences, meetings and other speaking engagements where applicable;
  • Keeping record of all stock, equipment and pre-packed laboratory kits;
  • Reporting and documenting all missed visits on that same day;
  • Complying with all regulatory requirements to ensure Good Clinical Practice;
  • Complying with study procedures, FAMCRU SOP¿S and GCP standards;
  • Adhering to the Quality Assurance Plan implemented for the specific study;
  • Reporting any congenital anomalies and clinical conditions to sub-investigators;
  • Completing source documentation as required by the study specific protocol;
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including community groups, as required, i.e. MOU¿s, day hospitals, and hospitals;
  • Assisting with the recruitment of participants for studies and providing direct patient care for participants.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

  • Diploma in Algemene Verpleegkundige;
  • Geregistreerde lidmaatskap van die Suid-Afrikaanse Verpleegings Raad (SANC);
  • Drie jaar se kliniese ervaring in `n navorsingsomgewing;
  • `n Goeie begrip van isiXhosa en Afrikaans.
  • Diploma in General Nursing Science;
  • Registered membership with the South African Nursing Council (SANC);
  • Three years’ clinical experience in a research environment;
  • A good command of isiXhosa and Afrikaans.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling

  • Ervaring met kliniese navorsing, insluitend die inskrywing van pasiënte in navorsingstudies, implementering van navorsingsprotokol en aanbieding van bevindings;
  • Uitstekende aandag aan detail wat vereis word in met die insameling en ontleding van data;

Summary

The incumbent is responsible for optimizing inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock management through accurate demand forecasting, strategic planning, and collaboration with cross functional teams. The role aims to enhance operational efficiency, minimize carrying costs, and uphold product availability, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization’s supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities     

  • Adopt and implement planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting key metrics and trends
  • Leada team of inventory control staff provide training, support, and guidance to ensure effective performance and goal achievement.
  • Load, maintain and ensure integrity of item-level product forecasts in ERP Planning System
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates, identify slow moving or obsolete items, and recommend appropriate action
  • Create and track replenishment orders and shipments for continuous supply of stock to ensure availability.
  • Demand planning including review of historical consumption and forecasts with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with logistics and commercial warehouse teams to streamline inventory processes and improve overall efficiency
  • Review of NAS stores organization parameters in view of consumption trends and user decisions
  • Analysis of monthly inventory report from outstation to determine top-up quantities
  • Preparation of monthly stock status  and consumption index by product category
  • Conduct weekly stock review and flag any abnormal consumption
  • Implement and maintain best practices for inventory control, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing inventory planning procedures.

Job Requirements        

  • Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain Management or other relevant business degree.
  • 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain environment. Preferable in inventory control & planning
  • Knowledge of inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP and other relevant IT tools
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CIPS, KSIM, APICS, CILT)
  • Member of Supply Chain Body CIPS, KISM, APICs, CILT
