Job Related Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in fleet management of Superlink vehicles
- Valid driver’s license (code 14 added advantage)
- Strong and proven administrative skills
- Supervisory / Management experience
- Driver Management experience
- Must be willing and able to work outside normal operating hours as required

Job Specification:
Assist in management of fleet and all associated expenses, including fuel, vehicle branding, maintenance and management of all depot vehicle including 8Tonners and Superlinks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service tracker schedule
- Service bookings
- COF tracker schedule
- Ensuring trucks are booked for COF timeously
- Request license disks & number plates
- Fleet audits – visual inspections monthly (signage, decals, body damage etc)
- Breakdown schedule
- Logging of breakdowns with RSB, Mercedes & Volvo
- Escalate major breakdowns to BM for intervention with supplier
- Analysing tyre surveys and arranging for tyres to be replaced with low tread
- Booking of wheel alignment on trucks & trailers
- Ensuring drivers complete and hand in pre-trip inspections
- Analysing pre-trip inspections and arranging necessary repairs, advise manager of driver negligence in order to recover via AOD process
- Completing of incident reports for accidents & incidents (will ensure driver is held accountable in case of negligent damages)
- Incident + accident reporting to Braveheart + quotation for repairs
- Advising BM of stock required for repairs (uprights, globes, suzi pipes, ratchets, wipers etc)
- Fire extinguisher expire schedule (truck & trailers)
- Truck cleanliness (inside cab + exterior)
- RealCam audit sheet – ensure all cams are in working order, no obstructions by drivers), arrange repairs if need be
- Truck fines – ensure submitted to Kgmotso for processing, drivers held accountable for speeding + parking fines or driving without license present
- Housekeeping on apron
- Manage all drivers regarding their appearances
- Manage all drivers regarding neatness of vehicles (OD and Mounties)
- Discipline taken for negligence with regards to accidents (AOD’s etc.)
