Minimum Requirements

• N Dip: Security and Risk Management (Essential/Minimum)

• Certificate Security Management (Essential/Minimum)

• Private Security Ind Regulatory Aut GR A (Essential/Minimum)

• Certificate First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)

• B Tech (Relevant) (Recommended/Desirable) EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years Relevant job-specific experience Importance: Essential/Minimum Involvement: Operational

Duties & Responsibilities

POSITION TASKS:

The incumbent will inter alia be responsible for the following: Access Control

• Responsible for effective and efficient physical access Control of employees, visitors, vehicles, delivery vehicles

• Physical searching of people and hand carrying goods, vehicles and containers before allowing entrance

• Ensure adherence to approved processes procedures documentation and prescriptive

• Applying of alcohol substance testing, through application of Alcohol blower and SD 400 testing equipment/Questionnaire and declaration report by incumbent and security officer Administration and Support Services

• Develop and implement Time Work Management (TWM) for Physical security through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

• Maintain TWM system information and employee data

• Compile review and implement Shift pattern scheduling of subordinates Compliance, Governance and Assurance

• Register all personnel to private security industries regulatory authority

• Ensure legal compliance of Security company personnel and own Security Officers to laws regulations and prescriptive

• Ensure that Standard Operating procedures are compiled to

• Commissioner of oath role for verification and certification of documents as according to regulation Crime Prevention and Investigations

• Resolve reported cases through assisting Investigation Officer with level investigations timeously

• Apply physical security principles through patrolling and 24/7 monitoring of Electrical fences, alarm systems and cameras surveillance of all areas

• Implement crime prevention interventions

• Overall discipline in mine Customer, Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management

• Establish maintain good customer relations to provide a quality service to clients

• Liaise and cooperate with Mine Management Employees, Visitors, South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Private Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) regularly to ensure effective physical access control Effective People Management

• Optimised team manned by staff which are motivated/empowered and led by sound performance management/transformational leadership practices

• Promote teamwork/provide support and manage performance by creating/maintaining individual development plans for subordinates

• Provide input on recruitment/Human Resources (HR) related activities of reporting staff

• Manage shift patterns of Physical Security Staff Equipment Operations and Control

• Obtaining, record keeping, issuing and maintenance of all security equipment

• Coordinate and control Weapons Ammunition Radios and Office Master Keys

• Adhere to and coordinate Physical Security budget and expenses Risk Management and Control

• Identification of potential risk areas and threats through analyses of reports and informative information and area inspections

• Develop implement and control immediate and preventative measures in collaboration with Contractor, Risk and Mine Management Safe and Healthy Work Environment

• Maintain ensure a healthy environment, safe operations practices, ensure compliance with all applicable Safety Health and Environment (SHE) policies procedures in line with set standards

• Encourage a culture that focuses on safety in all operations Security equipment and Systems

• Firearm record keeping of issuing and stock control

• Ammunition record keeping issuing and stock control

• Quality assurance and maintenance of Camera surveillance systems, alarms, Electric fencing, booms, turnstiles, gates, card readers

• Ensure Security systems are in operation 24/7

• Manage Security action operations on systems feedback streams (Physical, Surveillance, Alarms, Patrols and inspections) Technical Support

• Manage control and access to accident scenes

• Securing of access to scenes by posting Security Officers and cordoning off, of certain areas

• Manage implement and control Strike and crowd control actions Behavioural Alignment Demonstrates the following:

Your job

As a Care Team Senior Supervisor, you will be managing a team based in KL, Nairobi and Madrid. You will be responsible to motivate your own teams to ensure production levels and targets are achieved, to ensure effective processing controls are in place across locations, as well as championing efforts that achieve the highest possible levels of provider experience and satisfaction that enable the company to meet its growth and profit objectives.

Your role will be to:

Your profile

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading operational teams within the company or outside.

  • Experience in and passion for coaching, managing, developing, and motivating individuals and the team.
  • Experience in change and process improvement management – with a proven track record in improving customer service standards.
