Gospel singer Ringtone Apoko has pleaded with netizens to join him in prayer as he plans to go for head surgery.
According to Ringtone, he has been having unbearable headaches since blogger Robert Alai allegedly struck him on the head with a wooden club during an altercation.
Expressing his distress in a recent social media post, the Zoea kupigwa mawe singer said he is scared he might not make it out of the scheduled procedure alive.
“I am trying to work out and my head is really aching, I have not slept. The injury from the rungu I was hit with has affected me. I want to go for an operation. Please pray for me people. I do not think I will survive, I feel like I will die. Please pray for me, I know God can heal me,” he said.
Following the altercation on July 23, 2021, along Cotton Road in Kilimani Sub- county, Alai was taken to Kilimani Police Station but later released on a bond of Sh1million or an alternative cash bail of Sh300,000 pending mention.
In search of treatment, Ringtone is said to have flown to South Africa for a head scan to determine if he suffered any serious injuries.

“Naumwa na mkono na kichwa…na mimi sijawahi kujulikana kwa kupiga watu hii mambo yote sisi hufanya kwa mtandao ni ya kufurahisha wakenya…nimefanya head scan na kuna probability ni kama nita have kwenda South Africa kufanya head scan zaidi. Kwa sababu niliumizwa,” said Ringtone.
“Mimi naumwa… na mwili wangu hauko sawa. Mimi sikukosea Robert Alai lakini aliamua tu kunivamia, nikapandisha kioo ya gari wakati alikuja kunivamia nayeye akaona akuje na rungu apasue kioo ya gari yangu na akaniumiza,” he said.

Mike Sonko, a former Nairobi Governor has revealed that troubles at work almost led him to commit suicide.
Mike Sonko made this shocking revelation on Thursday.
Taking to his social media, the former county boss while eulogising Capital FM’s DJ Lithium who passed on on Wednesday, narrated how an incident with his inner circle left him feeling used and desperate.
“There was a time I almost committed suicide at City Hall after realising that my close friends at the county assembly and one from EALA sold me out. They incited and advised me to pick a fight with the Head of State over the changes at City Hall,” he said.
Without divulging much, Sonko seemed to be explaining how he was duped to hurl insults, which led to his eventual exit.
He explains he was left in the shadows while his perpetrators plotted his dismissal behind his back.
“It’s true, as men we go through a lot but watch out for friends who are not genuine and want you to sink,” he wrote.
Adding: “I couldn’t believe that my silent enemies were my own friends.”
The flamboyant politician further urged men to open up to each other and seek help whenever they face challenges.
“Men, when you undergo depression, open up to your friends like women do for each other,” he appealed.
Comedian MC Jessy Seeks Parliamentary Seat After Joining UDA
Popular Kenyan comedian Jasper Muthomi aka MC Jessy on Wednesday officially joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA.
The comedian intents to run for the South Imenti parliamentary seat after joining the UDA party.
He described the UDA party as the ‘winning team,’ he also explained that he decided to join the UDA team after holding various consultative meetings with the people of South Imenti.
MC Jessy further stated that a call from Deputy President William Ruto was enough to convinced him that he had made the right choice.
“It’s now clear where the vision is heading. After many days of consultative meetings with my South Imenti people I have officially been invited to join UDA. The groundwork that has been done has finally landed on the side of winning team.
“When I got the call from the chief Hustler Inviting me, I had to heed my People’s call and his call to join the winning Team…and may the work of redefining South Imenti now begin,” he wrote on social media.
A number of celebrities and entertainers have recently announced their plans to seek elective seats as the country heads towards the elections.
The popular comedian is going for the Langata MP seat, now under youthful politician, Nixon Korir.
